Asthma guidelines are put into practice

In May 2011, the Plain Language Awards given by the U.S. National Institutes of Health honored FHI 360 experts for the publication, National Asthma Control Initiative: Keeping Airways Open — Putting the Guidelines Implementation Panel Report in Motion. The bulletin highlights specific actions that organizations from local, state, regional and national levels can take to put national guidelines for diagnosing and managing asthma into practice.
